Good but nothing amazing is my current view on it, but I do have many loved fragrances I started off all like 'meh' about. Be that as it may, this is a nice, safe, light and pleasant scent and reminds me of walking on the beach. Some of the juice must have been absorbed into my jackets sleeve, two days later I can smell it there clearly and as a bonus, when I wear it and take it off, I can smell the juice on my hand for next two hours. It is a nice scent but its performance is very disappointing; a fragrance ideal for those looking for a personal space fragrance with no projection.

The 2018 version that came out right now, is incredible, compliment monster, this perfume is being underrated by others, but i disagree; it so much versatile, I am wearing it in the winter time and I gathered compliment. the original Invictus is very sharp and synthetic, nice scent, but gives me a headache after awhile. Yes aqua is a nice fragrance but I still prefer the original because of that deep aquatic sweet vibe that aqua lacks.

That warm sun kissed skin that radiates some sweetness from your suntan lotion mixed with the sea salt that clings to your swim suit and hair.

One hour in sampling it and this was a great decision as to me it seems to have lost a lot of it's charm and appears generic and nothing special. IMO this version is all three of the other Invictus fragrances well blended on artistic steriods and superior quality. It just smells better to me and more mature, albeit little more common, kinds reminds me of Dylan Blue with original Invictus DNA. The opening of this scent is stroooong and can put you off, but find a way to the dry down and you will appreciate it better.Whereas Aqua 2016 smelled to much like Invictus, making it an unoriginal and somewhat a boring flanker. The only struggle I'll have is deciding whether to take this or JPG Le Male Eau Fraiche with me on holiday. Like Creed Aventus which opens with the sc ent of pineapple, original Invictus Aqua opens with the fresh scent of grapefruit. The only real difference that I can discern from Aqua '16 and Aqua '18 is that Aqua '16 smells a slight bit richer (has a bit more "body"), resulting in Aqua '16 having a tad bit stronger scent, and '16 being a slight bit longer lasting.

When talking about spring/summer scents this is a fragrance that gets brought up a lot, along with its doppelganger Rasasi Hawas. Eventually, another few hours in, it settles down on a slightly sweet and very pleasant scent that lasts forever. Hawas is really very sweet and in my experience this will last a little longer than that without suffocating people around you. Maybe it’s not niche, but it’s about one of the best sweet manly fragrances the average guy can wear and know he smells good.clearly it's just people who hate just to hate cause they life revolves around speaking negative,to me and to women the 2018 is better and I don't care if u hate cause plenty people hate the truth.

I probably will still turn to my Manceras more this spring/summer for my violet fix, but this will certainly make it into my rotation. The grapefruit at the top definitely makes this scent mass appealing and easy to wear in most situations. Everything he just put out I gotta co-sign, this fragrance is really nice and i'll just say read what he wrote. This has a youthful vibe to it while avoiding that candy-ish, "bubblegum" accord that's so prevalent in many scents these days. Something I've never really experienced, which gives it that unique character on how to cologne presents itself to everyone around you.I was shocked with the tip of the cap to old-school sentiments given the marketing and packaging of the original, but it is just another reminder that Bo Diddley was right when he sang about "Never judging a book by its cover". Invictus Aqua (2016/2018) is another fragrance that snobs love to hate, and compliment-obsessed Chads love to place on a pedestal, which is perhaps why the standard trophy cup bottle carried over from Paco Rabanne Invictus (2013) is so appropriate. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. However, if you've smelled this before, and like me, have fallen in love with this exact vibe, or are curious about anything I or anyone else may have described here, then give it a shot. The only thing I don't like is that it really doesn't project and last long in the winter and colder months (in canada it's cold from october to april).
