This IS one of those books where we don’t meet the ow on page but she’s very much around all the time. Well actually it turned into something big, but I cared so little and it didn't seem to matter much since throughout the whole book Rhett kept complaining about her.

Both main characters where athlete's and both dealing with some circumstances that at times got a little intense/heavy but I loved the way the story played out and found that I was never once bored.Rhett came across as a bad boy hockey player when Sienna first met him but it couldn’t have been further from the truth. She's a college athlete about to skate for the last time, and nothing is going to throw her off course.

They start off a little roughly, but man do they blossom into this sweet with the perfect amount of heat romance. And though there’s little drama–at least until close to the end–that doesn’t mean the romance is shallow and meaningless. However, when life throws them a curveball, are both strong enough of heart to work through their issues towards a HEA?

Even though my favourite sports to read about are hockey (like this series is) or football, I do crave different settings and new things to learn about from time to time.

Rhett Rauthruss was a monogamous relationship man, who entered collage with a girlfriend (one absolutely none of his friends liked – more to how she treated him and his friends vs. However, I have to say that BROKEN HEARTS is Rebecca's darkest book yet, as she deals with some heavy themes and emotions in this one. The Valley U crew is there to nudge Sienna and Rhett in the right direction as they get to know each other. This series just keeps getting better and better- the writing sharper, the banter more endearing, the characters more complex and compelling, and this amazing crew of friends more charming.He instantly falls for her and she thinks he’s a player so there’s a bit of push and pull for a few pages and then she gives in when she finds out he’s only been with one other girl. They think they want different things, but when it heats up between them, there’s no denying they have something in common–even if it’s just for a night. Although the book was highly amusing at times, mostly due to my fav Maverick, it dealt with some serious matters and had several sad moments that in my opinion make the book all that more special and impressive. This is a hint to all of you who haven't read anything by her yet - pick up one book, and I mean anyone, and you will have a blast.
