the writing was absolutely beautiful and some quotes hit me very hard, but i have many issues with the book that ultimately made it fall a bit short for me.

I get the hype over Emily Henry's books, I swear I do, but they never captivate me or make me giggle, kick my feet in the air or feel happy. this book isn’t for people who only want to read about romance, it’s also mostly about friendship and i thought it was such a beautiful aspect in this book.
