Badass Crew: Starts with Boxxy, a mimic who went From Nobody to Nightmare, through a trio of centuries-old demons that are masters of fire magic, melee combat and assassination, ending in an Ax-Crazy metal golem who is so strong it was nicknamed "The Rustblood Juggernaut".

The team only functions because Boxxy holds the reins of most of them with its contracts, and that all their desires don't particularly conflict with each other. Death by Irony: Is outplayed and outgambitted by Boxxy and Fizzy, the two prisoners that escaped due Edward's overconfidence a year earlier. This action created the INT attribute and allowed the mimic to develop a sense of self and rational thought. Enemy Within: From Keira's perspective after waking up and finding that a doppleganger named Boxxy has taken over "her" body. One nosferata was abandoned by her parents at birth because she was hideous (jaw droopingly gorgeous by non-nosferatu standards), they use lead for currency because gold is worthless, they are nocturnal, and encourage bullying in children. Unfortunately for Boxxy, Bob takes the opportunity to make Keira into a separate individual and give her all the power and status Boxxy had earned as hero of chaos and using Keira's name. After being in Boxxy's service for two years, she realizes that she's not actually done a whole lot of that. Indeed, Ambrosia is more pissed off at FIZZY for revealing the mind control and allowing her to shake it off, as she would have much rather just remained happy and ignorant.

Her quasi-romantic relationship with Boxxy is mainly due to it being able to admire her down to her very core and keep her clean, and the only ones she works closely with and completely trust are copies of herself. Ki Manipulation: As a Monk, Zone can infuse her weapon and her body with ki to augment her offense and defense. Faceless Eye: Overlord Weaxohn the All-Knowing, otherwise known as the Demon King and CEO of Demons 'R' Us, appears as a massive eyeball in a darkened sky. RPG Mechanics 'Verse: This story features game-like windows and stat-boxes, and absolutely everyone in the setting sees them. It later earns the ability to shapeshift its tentacles into a metal form with matching hardness and sharpness, but this is taxing and generally more useful for utility than combat.Jerkass Has a Point: He is supremely antagonistic to his boss, and seems to make a point of dedicating a good chunk of his Boxxy-related reports going into exhaustive detail about how the current situation is all Edward's fault.

After a considerable amount of leveling up its Warlock perk, Boxxy became less moronic but is still fairly ignorant about the world at large. Immortality Seeker: Edward is an Ascendant who is getting close to becoming an Immortal, which apparently isn't a hyperbolic Status in this setting. Axel, who hates monsters and values honorable combat between equals, is not impressed: disgusted with Zone's monstrous choice of dungeon partner and her bloodlust masquerading as piety towards him, and finally insulted by Zone having the gall to think she's worthy of being his Hero, Axel removes all of his blessings from her as a result. So Proud of You: What he values most are the people who can really shake things up, and when they deliver he's positively beaming.Pet the Dog: It might be motivated by self interest (happy familiars are more loyal), but the freedom it grants to its familiars to do as they please in their free time and its molestation of Xera qualify as this, from the demonic and monstrous perspectives at any rate.

These can be seemingly useless ones like getting a snazzy new hat, beneficial ones like restoring all health and stamina, or bad ones like suddenly bursting into flames.Blue-and-Orange Morality: Has no interest in good or evil, merely in whatever happens to be the most interesting events that could occur.
