About this deal

Our 30L Mini Oven makes for the perfect addition to any kitchen, caravan, student dorm or studio apartment. Explore the convenience of a small electric oven that fits effortlessly into your lifestyle. Perfect for worktops, a table top oven is versatile enough to handle various cooking tasks, from baking and roasting to grilling. The keyword here is flexibility, and mini cookers provide just that, allowing you to experiment with different recipes without compromising space.

There are three dials, for temperature, settings and timer. Temperature choices go from 90°C to 230°C, and you can select the grill or full oven functions. The timer will go up to 60 minutes, or there is a ‘stay on’ option if you’d prefer to keep an eye on proceedings yourself. Complete with cool touch housing to keep the outer oven cool and rubber anti-slip feet to keep the mini oven in place From 0°C to 180°C in three minutes and up to 230°C in just under five, this is one speedy mini oven for all you impatient cooks and bakers out there.

Small in size, but big on functionality, this space saving mini oven is ideal for all sized kitchens Heat is given from a convection fan method, so it is spread evenly throughout the entire cooking chamber and will not fluctuate during cooking. Five quartz heating elements adjust throughout the process and get the heat to where it is needed. While this particular mini oven doesn’t take out all of the work on your behalf, it is certainly the cleverest on the market. Thanks to clever technology which can adjust the settings as it cooks, your food will be perfectly done, and there is no fine adjustment needed.

Getting it ready is also seamless, taking just minutes to warm up so little preheating is needed. There is a toast function too, taking away the need for a separate device dedicated to this which is great if you are low on space. One thing we really did like is the clear temperature adjustments, signalled by dots as the heat increases. Other ovens simply point out intervals and getting 190°C, for instance, would be a bit of a guessing game. But there would be no wondering whether you have the exact setting with this item.Don’t be put off by the basic looks and low capacity of this De’Longhi mini oven – it certainly proves itself when in use. It is one of the most adaptable which we reviewed, with the choice to select temperature settings between 70°C-230°C and a cooking time between 0-100 minutes. A lot of others only start at 100°C and last 60 minutes before you have to intervene again. Temperature Range: Do you frequently toast croissants in the mornings at 60°C? If so, getting an oven which only begins at 100°C may see a few burnt results.

For the size, there is a huge range of settings to choose from. Temperature goes from 100°C to 240°C, and you can select which heat setting is best, from grill to full/top/bottom oven. The timer also reaches between 15 minutes to 120, which is one of the most generous of those we reviewed and great if you’re making any meats or casseroles.

Essential info

First of all, it is fan assisted which helps with temperature regulation and even cooking. There are plenty of settings to choose from depending on your food and the results you are after, including a rotisserie option, conventional and grill options and the all-important hobs.

The top and bottom heating elements can be used individually or simultaneously ideal for grilling, baking or roasting Selecting each setting is also easy thanks to the control dial and well-defined markers which is something that lets a lot of other models down. The eight cooking functions include convection, conventional, grill, pastry, bain marie and defrost, the latter of which is missing on a lot of others. Some mini ovens will come with two hotplate rings on the top, making them great all-in-one appliances for anyone who will solely be relying on their mini stove for all cooking. The needs of every mini oven are different, but if you’re buying for a specific reason then there will be some very important aspects to look out for: No! Especially compared to a large standard oven or cooker. There is a smaller space to warm up, so most can preheat up to 200°C in under five minutes. This alone will save you money on running costs.

If your chosen model comes with a crumb tray, this will help your cleaning massively. It will be able to catch any crumbs from bread or dripping fat or cheese from bacon/cheese on toast. All you will need to do is remove this when cleaning and that is job done. Are Mini Ovens Expensive To Run? Cooking Functions: What will you be making in your oven? Will you need to defrost food, grill bacon, bake cakes or slow cook a casserole or two every week? Do you want a fan-powered oven for a more even and reliable cook? The functions you will be looking for will be unique to your cooking needs, but make sure it will at least be adaptable. The majority of mini ovens will come with a timer. This allows you to set the cooking time, and it will often ring when finished and turn itself off when done which is great for safety. Protect your appliance against the cost and hassle of unexpected failure and give yourself some added peace of mind with one of our great value extended warranties!
