About this deal

Menthol causes the blood vessels on the surface of the skin to widen. It causes a sensation of coldness followed by a reduction in pain.

Take care to avoid getting the lotion in the eyes, mouth or nose, or on the face or sensitive areas of skin such as the genitals. If you accidentally get the lotion on these areas wash it off immediately with plenty of water. Don't cover the treated area of skin immediately after you have applied the lotion; allow it a little time to be absorbed.

Radian B muscle lotion contains menthol, camphor, ammonium salicylate and a mixture of methyl and ethyl esters of salicylic acid. The lotion works by reducing inflammation and by causing counter-irritation in the area where it is applied, which helps to soothe pain in the underlying tissues. The side effects listed above may not include all of the side effects reported by the medicine's manufacturer. Flammable product, do not use on or near painted or polished surfaces; near open flames or hot surfaces and in confined spaces. Avoid inhalation. Radian B Mucle Lotion provides symptomatic relief from muscular and rheumatic aches and pains. These include Fibrositis, sciatica, sprained ligaments, bruises, Ingestion of the product or excessive use may also lead to camphor poisoning, the symptoms of which include nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, headache, dizziness, oropharyngeal burning, delirium, muscle twitching, epileptiform convulsions, CNS depression and coma. Breathing is difficult and the breath has a characteristic odour; anuria may occur. Death from respiratory failure or status epilepticus may occur; fatalities in children have been recorded from 1 g. Supportive care, including anticonvulsant therapy, is the mainstay of treatment of camphor intoxication. Gastric lavage may be considered if the patient presents within 1 hour of ingestion; any convulsions must be controlled first. Activated charcoal may be given orally.

Apply the lotion onto the palm of your hand or to some cotton wool and then smooth into the affected area.

Haemodialysis is the treatment of choice for severe poisoning and should be considered in patients with plasma salicylate concentrations >700mg/L (5.1mmol/L), or lower concentrations associated with severe clinical or metabolic features. Patients under ten years or over 70 have increased risk of salicylate toxicity and may require dialysis at an earlier stage. When used externally as directed, overdose is unlikely. However, symptoms of systemic salicylate poisoning have been reported after the application of salicylates to large areas of skin or for prolonged periods. Salicylism may also occur in the unlikely event of large quantities being ingested. Radian B Muscle Lotion may be applied again after 10-15 minutes if needed but no more than three times a day. This should be then reduced to morning and evenings when acute symptoms subside. This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to one or any of its ingredients. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have previously experienced such an allergy. Delivery to the rest of the U.K. including the Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles of Scilly, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and British Forces Post Offices, may experience longer delivery times.

A mixed respiratory alkalosis and metabolic acidosis with normal or high arterial pH (normal or reduced hydrogen ion concentration) is usual in adults and children over the age of four years. In children aged four years or less, a dominant metabolic acidosis with low arterial pH (raised hydrogen ion concentration) is common. Acidosis may increase salicylate transfer across the blood brain barrier. Flammable: Do not use near naked flame. Should not be placed on or used near polished or painted surfaces.

This medicine contains fragrance with Geraniol, Citronellol, Benzyl Benzoate, Eugenol and Citral, which may cause allergic reactions. Medicines and their possible side effects can affect individual people in different ways. The following are some of the side effects that are known to be associated with this medicine. Just because a side effect is stated here, it does not mean that all people using this medicine will experience that or any side effect. This lotion is unlikely to significantly affect other medicines when applied to unbroken skin. However, the manufacturer recommends that people taking warfarin should get advice from their doctor or pharmacist before using this lotion, as if enough salicylate is absorbed through the skin it could potentially enhance the anti-blood-clotting effect of warfarin.

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age should sprinkle a few drops of lotion into the hand or onto some cotton wool and then smooth or massage this gently into the painful area. Repeat after 10 to 15 minutes if needed. When convenient, apply the lotion after a warm bath. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the lotion to avoid getting it in your eyes or transferring it to sensitive areas of skin. If you feel you have experienced an allergic reaction, stop using this medicine and inform your doctor or pharmacist immediately. Customs clearance processing time is out of our control.
