Vinyl Flooring: Amtico LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tiles) flooring is made from high-quality vinyl materials, making it durable and easy to maintain. To clean Amtico LVT floors, follow the same steps as cleaning standard Amtico flooring. However, be sure to avoid using steam cleaners or excessive water, as these can damage the flooring. Similar to natural stone, Amtico can be damaged by the use of inappropriate cleaning equipment, although often to a lesser extent. Some vacuum cleaners that are not intended for use on Amtico can permanently mark the floor so proceed with caution. Also never use a steam cleaner on an Amtico floor to avoid any risk of delamination. Amtico can be vulnerable to surface scratches and marks from furniture, stilettos and other sharp or heavy objects. Felt pads and similar solutions can offer protection against these kind of marks but if it’s already too late for that there are a few options available to reduce the effects of the damage including apply filler and polishing. Using them could not be simpler. Regular sweeping with a soft brush is more than enough for the day-to-day, and to ensure your floor stays looking its best, the Maintainer can be used regularly as you would any other floor cleaner, by diluting with warm water according to the instructions and working in gentle S-shaped strokes until clean. For stains and scuffs, simply apply the Spillage Remover using the Cleaning Pad after wiping up the offending spillage. I can't compare as I was told to use this product on my kitchen Amtico floor I liked it & didn't g any furtherEven if you’ve got the best intentions, spillages and wear and tear are simply par for the course if you’ve got LVT flooring in your home. And, while Amtico LVT could hardly be easier to maintain, a little bit of upkeep is still required to keep your floor looking as beautiful as the day it was installed. Floorcare Maintainer: Amtico Floorcare Maintainer is designed to protect your flooring and keep it looking like new. It should be used weekly to remove any dirt and keep the flooring looking clean. Simply dilute the floorcare maintainer with water and apply it to your Amtico flooring using a soft brush or mop. Be sure to rinse the flooring thoroughly with clean water after applying the floorcare maintainer. When it comes to deep cleaning your floors, this is when a specialist Amtico Floorcare Stripper is advised. This will eradicate any nasty build-up of ingrained dirt and restore your floors to their former glory.

Whilst extremely durable, we encounter a few common issues with Amtico flooring. If you’ve spotted some signs of wear and tear to your flooring then it’s always best to treat it sooner rather than later to ensure the damage doesn’t get worse. After the floor has been stripped we use a high quality solution to dress the floor. This part of the process usually takes around an hour to complete depending on the size of the room. A couple of coats is sufficient to prepare the floor for daily use. We dress the floor thoroughly using the tried and tested technique of different coats applied at right angles to ensure a durable finish.

I used it on bare Amtico without any previous dressing on it from new after removing dirt accumulated inside grains over last two years. It looks complete new now. Original colour restored with glossy shine. 3 coatings were applied. It is recommended to use clean or possibly change mop if you are dressing new room another day. Prevention is better than cure, which is why it’s always good to regularly sweep and dust your floor a few times a week. All those crumbs and debris add up and damage your floor. Had a deep scratch in Amtico flooring I wanted to remove. Used this product with Floor Dressing Satin Finish to repair quite a deep scratch in floor tile. Referred to YouTube video where it recommended using neat and it worked well. Had plenty of cloths on hand too! Has got rid of 90% of scratch - perhaps I should have kept applying for a bit longer? This is absolutely fantastic, I used this alongside the satin dressing and the floor looks better than when it was Put down. I’m really impressed. Would advise to follow a YouTube tutorial if possible, you will get brilliant results. Really happy!!
