Central to my collaborations, is developing professional partnerships and promoting knowledge transfer to build capacity in local stakeholders. Thus, my work on climate-change adaptation in dry forests of Grenada, prioritization of Caribbean endemic bird species for conservation, and work on protected area management in Trinidad and Tobago emphasises this interest in forest conservation on Small Island Developing States. My body of work is focused specifically on exploring how those with minoritised identities can make their lives 'livable' based on their navigations of hostile systems. She is experienced in many areas of disease management such as diabetes, asthma and vascular disease and can also provide general nursing services such as holiday/travel vaccinations and cytology.
